Program description: As 2021 comes to a close, the political and legislative landscape are still very much in flux. While Washington D.C. works to finalize the Build Back Better Act, and other legislation, it is important to start planning for the end of 2021 and beyond.
Understandably, businesses and individuals alike have many questions regarding the steps that they should take now to get the most of their year-end tax planning, while also keeping an eye on what the future may hold.

Prerequisites: Current or past experience with taxation planning and/or implementation issues.

Topics to be discussed include:
- Legislative Update: We will discuss the tax changes and pay-fors coming in 2022, along with insights we’ve learned from the tax-writing committees.
- Federal Tax: We will address the latest federal tax law proposals/changes and what they mean to both businesses and individuals.
- International Tax: Get an introduction to the complexities of the new Federal Forms K-2/K-3, as well as a review of the implications of the proposed Global Minimum Tax Regime and prevalent risks of noncompliance.
- Individuals: We will review recent tax changes, their impact, and strategies for the remainder of 2021 and 2022. We’ll also review the PET (Potentially Exempt Transfer of inheritance tax) with actions to take now, charitable planning, and your year-end checklist!
