At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to: 

• Identify the key components of executive compensation, including base salary, bonuses, equity-based incentives, deferred compensation, and retirement benefits and evaluate how each element impacts cost allowability for government contractors.
• Apply regulatory requirements under FAR and CAS (including FAR 31.205-6 and CAS 412, 413, 415, and 416) to assess compensation compliance, support audit readiness, and maintain allowable cost structures.
• Assess the reasonableness and competitiveness of compensation packages using market data, salary surveys, and benchmarking, and apply this analysis to support pricing, indirect rate calculations, and Supplemental Form B reporting.
• Evaluate how executive compensation decisions influence indirect cost pools and proposal pricing and incorporate compliant practices into financial and operational strategies.
• Recognize audit risk areas and documentation requirements related to executive compensation, including statutory limits and common audit scrutiny points, to strengthen defensibility and compliance posture.
